Vítor Alves is a practicing architect, assistant professor at ISMAT, integrated researcher at CEAA-ESAP, editorial manager of Jornal Arquitectos and part of the organization and scientific committee of FilArch – Philosophy and Architecture Symposium. He has a degree in architecture (FAA-ULP), attended the master of Philosophy-Aesthetics (FCSH-UNL) and received his PhD from FAUP. His research focus on the contemporary relation between specialized media and the construction of the architect’s figure, and how this defines the disciplinary boundaries.
