Visiting Researcher
Dr. Špela Hudnik, Assist Professor at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Architecture, brings over 20 years of expertise in architecture, research, and education. Co-founding MONOCHROME ARCHITECTS in 1986. Her work focuses on global spatial transformations, including social and cultural contexts, heritage, border regions, postindustrial spaces, and military architecture. Actively collaborating with international institutions, she engages in EU research projects like EU HORIZON 2020 - MSCA, Interreg and Creative Europe. Dr. Hudnik is renowned for her innovative and multidisciplinary approach. She has organized the Intenrational Architecture Biennale Ljubljana. Her studio's projects can be found across Europe, and for two decades, she has been a prominent member of the scientific committee for the Global Award of Sustainable Architecture in Paris. She actively participates in various international workshops and holds visiting professorships in several European cities.
