Luísa Moura (Porto, 1982) is an architect, teacher and Ph.D. student with Degree (2008) and Integrated Master (2010) in Architecture, at FAUP. Collaborates with Nuno Brandão Costa between 2006 and 2013 and Eduardo Souto de Moura between 2013 and 2017. Participates as co-author in several international competitions winning the 1st prize at Innovative Ideas for Porto Water Tanks – SMAS competition, Porto, 2008. Is author and co-author of several architecture projects and built works. Also designs furniture. Since 2013 she is an assistant teacher of Project at Universidade Lusófona – Porto with Graça Correia. Invited speaker at Beijing Design Week (2014) and at Atelier Mano, La Cambre Horta Faculty, Brussels (2022). Since 2015 is an annual invited speaker at MArch da Universidad Europea de Valencia. Co-organizes workshops, exhibitions, conferences, debates and competitions such as the workshop Under Construction (2013), the competition Primeira Obra_Primeiro Projecto (2015) and Conferences and Debate Teaching Architecture with An Fonteyne, Andrea Deplazes, Marta Moreira and Stephan Bates (2024). She is a Ph.D. student at Universidade Lusófona – Porto and TerrA.ID - research group with the research: Architecture after the Architect: matter, time and life. Return to Eduardo Souto de Moura’s first houses, under Graça Correia supervision. She is a FCT (the Portuguese National Funding Agency for Science, Research and Technology) research fellowship holder since 2024.
